Leadership from three organizations come together to discuss the challenges and successes for Women in Cyber today. Join CyberReach, Women in Cybersecurity and the Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu for an update and open discussion at the National Cyber Summit 2018. The event will be held at the Von Braun Civic Center in Huntsville, AL on June 7 from 1:30-2:30 pm.

Angela Rittenbach

Founder and Chair, CyberReach | President and CEO, Riverstone Solutions, Inc.

Angela Rittenbach is the founder and chair of CyberReach, a non-profit organization formed in Huntsville, AL. CyberReach goals are to Connect, Prepare and Grow a qualified and diverse cyber workforce, particularly within underrepresented groups such as women and minorities. Angela is also the President and CEO of Riverstone Solutions, Inc., an information management and security company in Huntsville, AL. She founded her company 10 years ago to assist commercial and government customers with Enterprise IT solutions including data management, secure cloud services and advanced analytics. Prior to Riverstone Solutions, Angela worked in various industry positions such as system and network administration, database architecture and program management.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Clemson University. Angela resides in Huntsville, AL with her husband and 3 children.

Dr. Ambareen Siraj

Founder and Chair, Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS)

Dr. Ambareen Siraj is currently serving as the Director of the Cybersecurity Education, Research, and Outreach Center at Tennessee Tech. She is also a Professor at the Computer Science department. Dr. Siraj’s research areas of interest include smart grid security, smart manufacturing security, IoT security, situational assessment, security metrics, security education and workforce development. She has authored/co- authored around forty journal and conference articles in these areas. She has led (and currently leading) National Science Foundation Projects “Tennessee Cybercorps: A Hybrid Program in Cybersecurity”, “Tennessee Tech Gen-Cyber Camps”, “Capacity Building in Cybersecurity: Broadening Participation of Women in Cybersecurity through Women in Cybersecurity Conference & Professional Development”, “CyberWorkshops: Resources and Strategies for Teaching Cybersecurity in Computer Science”, and “Security Knitting Kit: Integrating Security into Traditional CS Courses”. Dr. Siraj is the Founder and Chair of the Annual Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) conference. She serves as the faculty advisor of Tech Cybersecurity Club for students.

Elena Steinke

Director, Women's Society of Cyberjutsu, MBA | CISSP | Security+ | C|EH | Threat Intelligence Analyst

Elena Steinke is a strategic & tactical architect, with over 15 years of systems engineering, and information security experience in developing solutions, providing strategic direction, designing, building, and directing cybersecurity operations across continents on multi-national projects, in the financial and US Federal sectors. Steinke stood up and directed multiple Security Operation Centers, Network Operation Centers, Data Centers, and management of virtualized storage technologies and elastic cloud environments. She lead security efforts across the globe for Automotive and Mobile Security, Banknote Processing Systems, Electronic Payments, eSIM, and IoT Technologies. She built and led Threat Hunting, Vulnerability Management, Security Assessment, Penetration Testing, Risk Management, Secure Credential Management, Key Management, and Security & Awareness Training programs.

She holds a Bachelors in IT, an MBA, and is pursuing her second Masters from Mercyhurst University in Applied Intelligence. When Elena is not being a geek, she enjoys racing triathlons.
